Aerial view from 1999 with landmarks labeled. Also overlayed the old proposed siding drawing which shows the location of mill relative to the tracks. The drawing lined up amazingly well with the aerial shot. I tried overlaying the proposed town layout in to this photo. I can't get it to match up. None of the photos I've seen show any relationship between the town and mill. The location of the Vaden house is the only usable landmark shown in the drawing, and I haven't been able to reference any landmarks to it. I'll look into this more later. |
